Part number P2GZ9G488A is a wastegate actuator service kit. It sounds like some of these little e-clips were missing:

Note that there is no mention of the powertrain warning, despite the fact that I showed them a picture of it. I suspect and hope that it is covered by one of the three codes they discovered.

Today is Wednesday 5/28/25 and I just got my truck back. I am happy that I got a chance to drive a ‘24 2.3 for a week - and I am very happy that I waited for my ‘25. Diagnosis is attached.

BTW - the dealer gave me a new 2024 Ranger XL as a loaner. The 2025 engine runs much better! It is much stronger and it sounds much deeper than the 2023 2.3. The brakes on the 2025 also grab much stronger and faster, although the 2024 brakes have a more linear and progressive feel, which I like.
