I'd be very surprised if that does indeed maintain the factory warranty. The 10R60 is rated for 443lb-ft. Sending 615 torques through the slushbox makes me itchy.
I've found that smaller locations are more willing to give out reservations/walk down market adjustments if you're local.
My girlfriend called up her hometown Ford(tiny place) just to see how receptive they would be to her (really me)buying a Raptor. Since it's F150 territory, midsizes don't...
Honestly, I think the opposite. The outgoing Ranger is much more aerodynamic than what's coming, and the F150 is a literal barn door. But the rental 4x4 2.7 I had a few months ago did immeasurably better than anything reported in the past 3 years on Fuelly. My buddy's 2 door base 2.3 Bronco on...
I could see them bringing out Code Orange with the retail orders. The Bronco’s launch color was Cyber Orange and that’s not available anymore. Who knows, they may axe Shelter Green in favor of something else. I love the brightness of Eruption, but Shelter reminds me of the Epsom Green on P38...
Slightly worrying to think about waiting another quarter seeing the price hike the BRaptors received since introduction.... I hope folks on here aren't priced out of the car they stood in line for just because they didn't get the absolute first unit a dealer could receive, when the customer...
There is such a huge inconsistency on dealers taking/submitting orders on the Raptor. Some dealers are green lighting everything, some aren't even accepting builds. My dealer gave me the "You're the first" speech but hasn't done anything while I'm seeing cases like this..... Makin' me itchy.
Annoyingly, the answer seems to be maybe. If the single allocation is exclusively dealer stock, you may be waiting till the Q4 numbers are released. If you're good with your dealer, they could submit your order as their stock, assuming it's a modifiable order.
