Like @sweeks888 posted, I didn't notice any flex, it seems pretty solid to me, but it does spring up pretty quickly and a little bit higher than the hood prop, takes a little push to close and latch it.
I saw the same thing because I've been using "2024" as my model year on Amazon because it's so new a lot of part say the don't fit. When I change it to "2025" is said it fit, so go figure. I've seen a couple of other posts here with '24's that had them installed, hopefully they'll weigh in...
I recall reading somewhere (wish I could find it a post a link) that if you try to alter or remove them it will put a check engine / wrench light on your dash display.
I think I read once that it's only good for up to 400 watts.

Only have 1000 miles on mine but I agree, it's pretty spirited. During break in I was babying it, got 18.4 MPG around town, I'm sure that will drop now, may try Eco mode to see if it makes a difference.
