Certainly don't need it in 2 door, SCab, or work trucks/Fleet. Carrying your family or pets in the rear of cab is a fairly recent development and doesn't cover 100% of buying base. There's plenty of SUV options out there for people with those needs as a higher priority than actual truck things.
"Should", according to whom exactly? Seems there's some really entitled people out there who think they are always supposed to get what they want just because they want and expect it. I guess that's what negative reviews on social media are for ?‍♂️
doesn't Hennessey actually have to order and wait in line to even get 1 playing Allocation Roulette like the rest of us? Don't tell me they get special treatment to cut the line with multiple units delivered before regular paying customers- that wouldn't be fair!
lol. Case in point, my 1987 Ranger bought new off the lot had no AC, no cruise control, no rear bumper, no radio, no power windows, power locks, etc. it was PERFECT for my needs at the time. I added other goodies over time as I could afford them. There is a real lack of understanding the past...
Stop torturing yourself, cross Ford off your list, and buy something else that has exactly what you want for the exact price you want then. Your angst is 100% self induced here.
Rear AC vents are truly a 1st world "problem". When I grew up driving AC was for people with bigger budgets and the rest of us opened windows and vents and cooled our behinds with aftermarket ventilated seat covers.
A lot will be determined by your right foot. I'd expect most Raptor owners to be in Turbo Leadfoot mode most the time. Otherwise, what's the point of having an extremely high-performance vehicle at all? Even my little Maverick takes deliberate effort to stay out of Turbo range. But if I am...
old gearhead proverb: there's no replacement for displacement. That Frontier with naturally aspirated V6 making 310hp and getting 18/24/20 mpg looking pretty good right now. Runs on regular 87 octane too. My Maverick turbo is recommended to run 91 for best overall performance.
some people have more money than sense. Different strokes for different folks and all that. Saw article today that Michael Jordan plopped down $3.5 mil for a limited production Supercar. Regular people can't ever compete with that.
there's a good chance dealer is saying you are at the top of his "pre-order" callback list. He is likely giving you and everyone else on his list the same head's up courtesy call, not holding a place in line for your 1st refusal. Then they wait for the crowd to show up and actually place the...
I've seen some inventory @ Reliable Nissan in/near South Metro ABQ I think. It's actually pretty close to the CARmax as well if I come down South from Durango the 550. Was thinking to do both in same day since CARmax says I have to bring in my Maverick for appraisal in person. Gonna be a long...
I live in CO and bought a custom-made trailer in AZ in 2018. Had to get special paperwork with certificate of origin and signed state dept of transportation forms declaring it would be out of state registration and not taxable or registered in state. Also limited time temp registration paper to...
