There’s a New GMC Canyon AT4 Stuck on a Colorado Hiking Trail at 14,000 Feet (msn.com)
maybe not as great as some people claim. enjoy!
I took it as you were suggesting that line workers work with their hands, while "office workers" work with their brains and white-collar skills and would not be able to fill in working with their hands efficiently. I know plenty of white collar or salaried employees who worked manual labor...
I think you're putting too much importance on the concept of "office workers" vs. "real workers" who get dirty on the line working the lines. So much is already automated by robots or specialty assisted equipment, there just isn't that much physical prowess needed directing the automated lug nut...
may be the opposite. Quality might actually be better in this case. Engineers, SW, QA/QC, Systems, DVT and others are going to pay more attention to detail IMO. I expect only people with some kind of aptitude for hands on work along with using their brains would be considered trainable for these...
this is actually great news! All the non-union people trained to work the production line should easily be able to pump these out at a steady rate regardless of any strike. I'd expect Ford to delay offering the 2.7 option until well after the strike ends so as not to complicate or delay...
I evaluate on a situational basis. If it's not hurting anybody and I have other choices and not forced to pay inflated (gouging) prices I ignore it as supply and demand rather than greed. The crooks that raise gasoline and bottled water prices after a hurricane or those scammers that bought up...
I agree with you on objecting to greed in retail transactions. I just don't consider vehicle dealers as particularly heinous offenders in the big picture that is modern life ?‍♂️
got it. I still have my 1 and only push-button ignition vehicle. 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has a "dumb" key fob that only locks/unlocks doors and has a panic button. Jeep has been basically bullet proof with just good maintenance habits except the key fobs and ignition button. Button on dash...
you could not be more misguided with this thinking. Ford has currently been training the salaried people to work the lines in event of a strike. It could not work in reverse as The guys and gals on the line are lower skilled and educated for the most part and easily replaceable including by...
seems to be a popular opinion Ford does things deliberately to push people into F-150s, but I've never seen or experienced anything like that myself. And YES, Keys! totally prefer that to push button which is just 1 more electronic system to fail and allows extortion by companies to make you pay...
Yeah, and Unicorns and Pot's 'O Gold at the end of the rainbow are real too! I challenge anyone promoting this opinion to show us even 1 example where people 100% refused to pay dealer markups and the national network of dealers caved and sold at MSRP or less after the little "boycott". IMO...
Why in the world would you expect a limited-edition premium vehicle to sell for MSRP from day 1? Doesn't happen with Ford GT or Shelby, Corvette C-8 and many others. You can go the route of searching the country as some have suggested, or simply wait it out until the initial surge of buyers is...
Can't speak to the Canadian model, but US build and price tool let me choose between 4x2 and 4x4 right at the very 1st step of building my truck. I configured it and submitted at my dealer. Sales manager didn't like it though because in his words "I can't sell a 2-wheel drive here if you decide...
some of these comments makes clear a few people are clueless as to how dealer Franchise agreements (contracts) work, and the legally binding obligations and responsibilities between the 2 parties. Unsupported speculation on what "Ford" wants or thinks and conspiracy theories on rigged systems...
No, your dealer isn't getting a 2nd Ranger Raptor- nobody is for now and Ford isn't saying when if ever that will happen. Also, why aren't you using Ford tracking tool, chat, Customer hotlines, etc. for info on status of your order and getting your VIN? Dealers are not the 1 and only (or even...
