I had a 2023 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch with the 2.7l and did not have cam phasers issue. It is MUCH less common on the 2.7l. I wouldn't be concerned. I believe it is the highest produced F150 engine and they have been making it far longer than the 3.0l.
I wish I knew. I'm kinda thinking about it like being in a restaurant and not wanting to eat spit. So I haven't asked them why my steak is taking so long...ya know?
The only way you'll know is if you hear it on a cold start up. My only "symptom" is 12.9 mpg. And an annoying rattle on startup in my new truck. But I want to do the tune to the truck so I didn't want to add power to an engine with bad parts in it. I read on here someone else got their phasers...
I just want the truck to be right. I've gotten the opportunity to hear 4 new Ranger Raptors start. 2 had bad vct's and 2 good from the factory. Heard several bad vct's on new Bronco Raptors as well. I don't want to get rid of the the truck, it is peerless. I am giving an opportunity...it's been...
So I've known my cam phasers were bad from the factory. I waited for official recognition from Ford that there was a problem before attempting a warranty repair. I had my truck inspected and the dealership agreed I had bad cam phasers. 6 weeks for the parts to arrive, 2 more weeks to schedule...
I lay down a challenge, every portrait (vs landscape) orientation infotainment screen in a 2024 Ford regardless of model or trim is sync 4a. Prove me wrong
I think I know the problem. Try going to your Bluetooth on your phone. On the line with your truck touch the blue "i" on the far right side. Now click "show messages" to on position. I hope this does it for you. Otherwise it mat actually be a problem.
