Do you have a drop in bedliner, if so how did the bulkhead rubber stripping work out was it to thick for that head rail to sit flush to meet the siderails?
My drop in has a 'cap' portion over the bulkhead wall that is going raise up the head rail once that thick rubber piece is installed...
Agree, wonder if it's the same muffler part # (as 5th Gen) I'm gong to check to see if a part # is stamped on the muffler.
Ford the leader in part deletion and still increases the price.
For the 18% msrp price increase maybe at the least they’ve fixed the mushy brake pedal and suspension woes. As for me with no Scab option it’s a non starter, I don’t like the proportions of the 4dr with shorter bed plus I really don’t have a need for a 4 person cab.
No mention of a SCab option, I know they are a small amount of total production but personally liked the look and proportions with the perfect size 6 ft bed, I’m :(
That front end looks hideous, with the black plastic overlay going in different directions, also the gray skid plate looks 'stuck on' just to busy imo not a clean design.
The $64000 question for me is will Ford be able to deliver these Rangers ‘on demand’ or is it just going to be more of the same delays and dealer markups, currently the two larger highway dealers near me have no new Rangers on their lot or even show any incoming, and we all know the sheet show...
Thanks for that info, so the pics of the Assembly line unit were giving off a larger appearance to me and probably being a Raptor with the larger tires and wheel opening mldgs
What's known abut the actual dimensions, i mean it looks like its getting into the F150 size and that for me is not something I'm interested in.
The 5G size is perfect for what i need a truck for, hopefully it' stays close.
Also that screen is hideous, i guess I'm old school.
I think...
The Platinum trim level is not something that i would be interested in, further more all that exterior 'Platinum' lettering (4 of them, yea Ford we get the point it's upscale) would be removed by me using the dental floss method, other than that it looks good and hope they keep the SCab option.
