Hey, looks great in CG i was torn between that & Cactus grey, and i am in agreement with all your points especially that cutch fan, thank goodness it's gone what a ticking time bomb.
Although i have the 2.3 like before so i guess I'm blessed with carbon build up:rolleyes:
I also looked at the Putco but when it said '19-'24 i knew they hadn't updated their website because the '19-23 (5th Gen) opening is ever so different to the '24's
So i emailed them about it and they confirmed my thoughts and said they are working on a new part and would also notify Real Truck...
Ok i just gave that a try there was a slight resistance but both wipers moved to the vertical position, i also tried it on the other vehicle in the driveway a Chevy Equinox that has no hood /wiper arm clearance issue and i wasn't able to move them there was more of a locked feel.
So this is new...
While drying the truck after washing i noticed that the drivers wiper doesn't extend upwards, it hits the hood edge. Also like to keep the arms up during snow/ice storms so the blade doesn't stick to the glass.
Not understanding that they couldn't have designed a work around with a different arm...
I agree, although there could be a slight difference that requires some small re-tooling and since there's not a lot of Rangers those aftermarket Co's may wait for more volume production numbers to hit the streets to justify their investment, considering not every '24 Ranger is going to change...
I hear ya, you’re absolutely right in your feelings I would be upset also and am very picky about my vehicles as all of us here are.
If your satisfied with the truck in every other way maybe you give the repair process a shot with them replacing the damaged carpet and other interior pieces if...
Maybe their body shop could repair it with Plexus structural adhesive that's used to bond metal, that will seal it up.
You said three holes are the other two the same general size?
Hope it works out to your best satisfaction.
As others mention above about reflecting off low E glass i just saw an episode of the home improvement show 'Ask This Old House' where Tom Silva GC went to a person's house who had a small section of the vinyl siding melted the homeowner had no idea how, he figured it out pretty quick that an...
Yes a lot of things changed for the better from the 5th Gen but the shock valving is still to soft, i can see & feel the front end 'floating' at highway speeds under certain road conditions, not a comfortable feel .
I'm going with the theory about reflective sun melt, can you backtrack in your memory as to where you parked at some point before you noticed it?
Put on your detective cap on lol.
Yea maybe so, i know there's only two signal wires at that plug, maybe a third would be necessary for the park to be made 'live' and that would also require a different socket.
Also i messed around yesterday with Forscan changing the amber signal's to be enabled with the white /DRL's to see...
