Yes, to me value is relative to core utility. I needed new truck. New truck with minimum options to make sense as my primary vehicle is 40k, because everything is 50% more than it should be. So I spent 20k on wants, not 60k.
Yea I get flexing isn't always bad. My concern is more, why did it flex and more importantly what did flex under a relatively calm dynamic load at that point. It was already on the rock. I don't think it would be unreasonable if it smashed down into it that it deflects.
These things are...
What's the point of sliders if they can't safely handle the partial weight of the truck on one side though? It doesn't matter if it's a giant boulder or just you are slightly hung up on a ledge over a decline due to wheelbase being a smidge too long. You're going to have half your truck...
I guess I don't really understand ADM in this case because you can always get these trucks through one of the huge volume dealers that will give you a small discount under list, will cover equiv shipping/driving it back at least. So effectively, you can get a vacation and road trip and MSRP all...
Yea, rodents are bad news regardless of how cute their fur pattern is. I thankfully haven't had this issue (tons of friends/family have just luck of the draw with property/parking/etc.) but for example the anti-rust coating I get on my truck frames is peppermint scented to repel rodents so...
That's any vehicle at that price, though.
In part, I sympathize because I still am living in 2019 dollars mentally. I think everything is way too expensive.
You should always go price comparable vehicles and test drive a few. The RR is certainly a more premium vehicle than anyone 'needs'...
Personally, I wouldn't pay ADM. I went 90 minutes to get mine because I wanted a specific color and didn't want to pay any markups (though admittedly none of the dealers were doing that much it was all 1-3k at most).
I didn't know the RR came with 4A before purchasing it. I'm just used to slowing down to put the truck in 4H if it's nasty out or I come up to a road that isn't plowed yet. I've ended up using 4A all the time for marginal driving conditions where it's mostly fine. Having nearly spun out in 2H...
That's definitely not normal. If it's multiple fobs, that sounds to me like antenna shorted to the vehicle somewhere (probably manu defect). Not sure where it is in the RR though.
