Another great spot to put it, which I saw on the Bronco forum was on the inside of your gas door. If you use it all the time maybe not, but that's where I would put mine.
I ran into this problem before when I bought my work truck out of state. They had to overnight me another temporary registration as the original was about to expire, took about 6 weeks to get right.
My RR was built on 3/31 and has been at the factory since on a quality hold with no information, hope you are not in the same boat. I am starting to look in my area for one. This is my second order that has had issues, really makes me wonder about the quality of these trucks.
Well I got some bad news today, my RR has been placed on "Quality Assurance Hold" and the shipping estimate was removed from the system according to my salesman. The sales manager is going to call Ford tomorrow to see if he can find out what's going on. It's been "In Production" for a week and...
So I called my salesman yesterday to get an update on my order. He confirmed that it is built, no holds and is waiting for shipping. Estimated arrival at the dealership in last week in April. Just shows you how not accurate Ford's order tracker is. Mine currently still says in production.
So I looked up my modules and it shows that they are populated and I have me tear tag, which supposedly means the vehicle has been produced or close. I hope that means that Fords order tracker is just off, which I had first hand experience with my Super Duty.
