  1. New Garrett turbos available step inside for 330+ rwhp gains 💪

Anybody doing E85 conversions? I had an Audi RS3 and that thing looooooved E85. I'd be super tempted to see what you can get out of a fairly tame 91 octane tune with these turbos. Not sure I want to do a trans rebuild etc but that rig you have sounds amazing 😲
  2. Is PPF worth it?

Hey, CO front range driver here -- your quote is a little high I think. I did the front quarter panels, hood, mirrors first for $1500. Then a couple months later I went back and did the doors and bed sides for another $3500. So all in was $5K for the PPF. Nothing on the roof or the tailgate...
  3. CARBONIZED GRAY Ranger Club Thread. THE CGs

  4. Rival bumper and skids + Foutz UCA, sliders and tie rods + GOAT spacers + 35" tires

Thanks! Really happy with where it ended up, you're going to love it. The 703 looks so good on these trucks, and +35 moves the tires out just a bit to fill the fenders nicely.
  5. Rival bumper and skids + Foutz UCA, sliders and tie rods + GOAT spacers + 35" tires

No rock sliders yet, haven't needed them. Heh love it when people quote the whole post for a one-liner :)
  6. Rival bumper and skids + Foutz UCA, sliders and tie rods + GOAT spacers + 35" tires

I wasn't sure if this was a "wheels and tires" post or a "bumpers and armor" post, but I'm finally done with all the suspension shenanigans! Bumper, winch, skidplates, suspension tweaks plus new tires and wheels. A lot going on, but I'm very happy with the results -- the truck looks better IMO...
  7. What did you do to your Ranger Raptor Today?

Finished my suspension shenanigans -- back to stock springs and 2"/1" GOAT spacers. 315/70r17 K03 tires on Method 703 +35 wheels. No more driveline vibration!
  8. error after changing the wheel radius

After changing the wheel size in Forscan, you need to run the PCM and AWD "initialization/relearn" steps. You should also probably do the ride height calibration just in case. https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/threads/forscan-caused-check-engine-for-tire-circumference-change.22062/#post-319098
  9. UCA options?

Foutz makes one in a couple colors, made in Arizona. I got the black one: https://www.foutzmotorsports.com/collections/ford-ranger-raptor/products/ranger-raptor-billet-aluminum-upper-arm-kit-stock-length
  10. Winter is coming! How do you clear the snow on your vehicle??

60" broom -- https://amzn.to/48Y0KPT -- liked it so much I bought one for every car, runs on elbow grease.
  11. 35" tires with spacers and springs -- front end wobble in 4WD

I'm going to swap the springs back to stock. Out of town next week but hope to get it sorted the week after.
  12. RIVAL Aluminum Bumper for Ranger Raptor

Yes. I measured 1" drop up front from the bumper + winch. I also have the full Rival skid plate package.
  13. 35" tires with spacers and springs -- front end wobble in 4WD

You might be on to something, found this spec sheet listing preferred caster as 3.45. I don't understand how that would affect the drive shaft angle though?
  14. 35" tires with spacers and springs -- front end wobble in 4WD

After the lift, caster on the OEM UCA was 3.3° left and 3.0° right. After the Foutz UCA it was 3.0° left and 2.9° right
  15. 35" tires with spacers and springs -- front end wobble in 4WD

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, so I put in a Foutz UCA. It aligned better with the new UCA and is definitely more stable (that fixed a 50mph straight-line wobble), but that had no affect on the wobble under acceleration in 4A or 4H.
