Mine is great. I've had it for six weeks and needs a wash. Just added the Leer shell. I'm a HAM and now have a couple of antennas and radios to install. Now I have good mount locations! More to follow.
Mine were set to 41. Will lower to mid 30's after my flat tire had me check correct pressure. went up a rugged road to a mine on Saturday and got a slow leak. I even received an email stating low pressure. The pressure monitor allowed me to get off the dirt before total flat.
Get one with a detatchable head and mount the body under a seat. There a a lot of mini sized radios like the Retevis RT95. I use a box with two radios that sit on the floor either front or back and can easily be set up outside for events. There are ways to control the radio remotly and possibly...
My experience was also great with Charlon Ford of Ridgecrest California. Dealer picked me up at home eighty miles from the dealership. Priced at a little less than MSRP. What a fun truck! XLT FX4
Tracker updat; delivery delayed by one week to 4/23-5/03. Chat; 4/20 in Richmond Ca. by rail. 400 miles to dealer by transport. I'm going with tracker correction tomorrow!
You're probably right. Time for a consensus of the word "EXTREME". If graded dirt roads were a 1 and Rubican a 10. Maybe a 7 or 8 would be extreme?
I will have a FX4 real soon and ordered a Leer shell. I will get the brackets and don't plan on extreme conditions.
It may not be verticle loads. I think it's to prevent lateral movement. " Ford recommends the installation of a load box reinforcement bracket kit to improve the structural performance of the bed when used in extreme off-road conditions."
