Interesting read. I think from what I have read on the Ranger Raptor you have to be in a certain mode to keep the turbos spooled. I think the GT40 keeps the turbos spooled all the time.

The Getrang is a standard transmission. The 7 speed Manual Getrang seems to be ok in the Bronco. The 6 speed in the Mustang is having issues. 10 speed automatic is one of the best. I can only wonder if some architecture of the Pinto block is in the Mazda/Ford designed 2.3L . Just the cast iron...

Good to see you can still get the 7.3 l Godzilla motor. All about stoic metric efficiency. Low end grunt. Does not need a lot of rpm to pull. So narrow that motor, but long. Improved intake.
