Man, i wish i lived closer to my 'local' trails here in VA, if i can get a PCS to Colorado i would move there in a heart beat! Cheers! I've made a ton of youtube videos with my ranger raptor but a bit lacking in the serious offroading clips. i'm stuck with just a handfull of accessable trails...
I broke that same POS part of the clip hahaha. I just shoved it back on and hope for the best but now that you posed this i may go ahead and fix mine to hopefully eliminate my "trailer brake fault" error i get every time it rains even without a trailer hooked up.
i was in the same boat as you and ended up making my own slider and it can hold 6 of the 9.5" tall totes from lowes/home depot. it does add some weight (about 75-80 lbs) but it is solid and makes getting to my gear SO EASY now. still gotta paint it up and get it water proof since my tonneau...
congrats and that lightning is AWESOME... i'm kinda bummed that they brought that name over to the electric F-150... a lightning is supposed to be a sport truck! You are gonna love your RR when it gets delivered!
when this happens to me i just reset the whole screen... Hold the volume down button and the next track button (far bottom left and far bottom right buttons) on the steering wheel for 8-10 seconds and the screen will shut off and reboot... that is the surefire way to get it working again and you...
I'm not out at my truck but if you post a close up of your screen we may be able to help you determine if there is one or not. I put one on my screen and i dont think twice about it, it works great and provides a little bit of scratch protection when i have dirt and dust on my fingers and touch...
now that you mention it, i think i need to get back into the sound deadening and do the back wall before it gets too hot and miserable to work. I'll probably order the material today and do this over the weekend and i'll make a quick video on how to access everything. Cheers.
I installed a cheaper version (auxbeam 32") behind my grill and was able to use some stock mounting points but it was a bit too thick so i had to trim some plastic. If you get a standard 32" rounded light bar, it would probably fit great and save you some money if you are willing to do a little...
Hey guys and gals... I am loving my new steering wheel but the directions were not quick specific enough and when swapping out the paddle shifters I ended up bending a piece of copper that is used to make the electrical connection when the paddle shifter is pulled. I tried a few times to fix it...
I just have a dry chemical fire extinguisher tucked to the side of the back seat that I can grab quickly if needed... I was looking for a way to mount a bracket but gave up after a pretty short attempt and just shoved it down back by the stock B&O Amp in the back. secure and doesn't move and I...
The switch is in the infotainment screen, I am not sure if the wiring is there or not but it would be pretty awesome if you could add it! If you take the steering wheel off there will be a separate plug for the heating elements at the bottom of the wheel. I can get a pic of the plug if that...
Thank you for the info! I am going to head into a tire shop this afternoon and before I swap my tires over i'll be sure to get this answer (and if necessary a new set of lugs). Cheers
that looks awesome. I'm going to be swapping my tires over to a set of 703s today... super excited. I think the 33's look pretty good on this truck. 35's would probably ride a bit smoother and give an extra inch of clearance so once these wear out I'll probably trade up but for now I'm...
I tried the search feature but either I don’t know what I’m doing with it or it hasn’t been posted specifically. Anyone know if I can use the stock Ranger Raptor lug nuts with aftermarket Method 703 wheels? Thanks and sorry if this has already been answered.
Thanks buddy! I appreciate that! I have been having a blast making the videos (most of the time) and it’s super cool to be able to chat with so many people around the world in the comments and on this forum about our trucks!
