  1. Waterproof tonneau cover

I agree with danmoochie's post for the Leer tonneau covers for NOT allowing water to enter the bed and without drain tubes. Maybe just a few drops at the car wash with pressure. Below is my post from earlier this year and my experience with Leer. Also, I would buy again in a heart beat. Great...
  2. Swing Cases and Ford Points

Why Ford used RED Loctite on those bolts, is beyond me... when a drop of Blue would suffice.
  3. Swing Cases and Ford Points

Quite possibly, have not tried it as yet. Thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to be ready in case, when stopping by The BORG for a couple project sheets.
  4. Swing Cases and Ford Points

Unfortunately only 43.5" between boxes, with both installed. However, boxes could be swung open, against the closed tailgate and the end of a 4 x 8 sheet or 2 could lay on top of the boxes I think, without any issue. Especially if a shim was put under the boxes, so as not to damage the box hinges.
  5. USB drive

For what it may be worth, a Google search turned up this info... While Ford does not specify a maximum gigabyte capacity for the 2025 Ranger's SYNC 4 system in the owner's manual, user reports indicate that large USB drives, including those up to 256GB and even larger external SSDs (up to...
  6. SiriusXM Updating Every Time I Start My RR

LOL... I got in on the ground floor of Sirius, when they merged with XM back in about 2008 and at that time, lifetime subscriptions were available... I bought 2 (transferable to different vehicles, small charge), have never paid a subscription charge since.
  7. SiriusXM Updating Every Time I Start My RR

Criminy... well, at least not alone and not an obscure Sirius issue with my RR then. Thanks man...
  8. SiriusXM Updating Every Time I Start My RR

Does everyone's SiriusXM update for 15 - 30 seconds every time they start their vehicle? I don't think this is just tied to my 2024 RR, I think it's a Sirius issue within the SYNC 4 platform, possibly tied to the "start over or similar music" features available. Whatever it is, it's annoying AF...
  9. Is a screen protector worth it?

They are really cheap (Amazon), so no reason not to. Plus dust is abrasive, settling on the screen and then touched or swiped with finger will cause scratches eventually.
  10. What's the best way to take this hose off

Agreed, I was dismayed at having to clip the sides of these connectors. I believe a tool does exist, but must be cost prohibitive, at least from Ford. I wonder if a cheaper one is available from say Amazon or eBay for this type connector. Too late now for me, as I've already installed the IAG...
  11. What's the best way to take this hose off

Check out this YouTube Video from IAG (for the same type installation, more or less), I believe it shows just how that line is removed, not positive though...
  12. Mod for increase mileage?

I live in the US as well, I've tried to add ECO mode via FORScan several times (there's a different thread on this subject)... I've had no success getting it to materialize. Something still missing in all the suggestions from others on the correct procedure. Works off shore in other Raptors...
  13. Rubber Inserts for interior holders?

Ordered this set off of Amazon, I had no issues with the fitment. The only issue was the pad for the open space in between the glove boxes, with the summer heat here, this pad warped and developed wrinkles (likely all of these silicone type sets will do this, I don't think just this set)...
  14. Is Motorcraft 5W30 Full Synthetic available in 5-QT jugs like Synthetic Blend?

And I'm sure you did an internet search, looks like josephp732 is correct and nothing larger than Qt. size for home owners (perhaps it was in the past and they discontinued the larger size). However, you might do an internet search for best 5W30 full synthetic motor oil and make a decision for...
  15. ProCal Tune vs Stock Tune and Octane Thoughts

As far as mileage increase goes, I can tell you around town with the Tune, MPG is no better and likely a little worse. I average about 13 in the city keeping my foot mostly out of it. Course, I am a "red light" magnet, so your mileage may vary.
  16. Should I get a Ranger Raptor?

If gas mileage is a concern at all and most of your driving will be around town... figure on 13-15 MPG, and that's mostly keeping your foot out of it.
  17. Leer HF650M on 2025 Ranger?

Yes, factory used RED Loctite on all Torx bolts, lord knows why when Blue would have sufficed nicely. If you need to remove any of the Torx bolts, make sure to clean any bed liner spray out of them first and don't use an impact gun to try and drive them out, just ruins the bolts (they are really...
  18. New 2025 Ranger Raptor 2.0 (my second RR) Build.

Since the Raptor only comes with a 3.0 engine, what does the 2.0 you list in your post title mean?
