Guess I'll have to look under mine.
I just put in a 4k+ trip 8-10hr days and was quite comfortable. My wife had the same opinion.
I pressed around the back of bottom and seat back while sitting and didn't feel any gap so to speak of.
I'm sure after while as the foam breaks down that will change...
The one in the photo does not have the plastic rail caps.
I guess they could have taken them off to mount the shell.
I would much rather have a bed without the caps. Much easier to seal covers without.
Old school- I miss the front over the hump sandbag trash cans from back in the day. And cars that could use them.
Just made a 4500mi. trip and just used a plastic grocery bag.
Wife and I just had a similar discussion about trash can for front 2024 XLT.
Time to inspect 2.3l air filter.
Traveling and hit some dust storms in the US.
There is a wealth of knowledge here-
Can someone tell me what size the Torx bit is that's needed for the housing fasteners?
Thanks in advance.
One other very important factor not mentioned above is weight distribution within the trailer itself. Heavy weight aft of the axle will cause fishtailing and the trail wagging the dog effect which can lead to loss of control and rollovers.

Ok thanks.
I was thinking of adding strut cylinders but might not be able to. Not sure you can drop it with the strut cylinders.
I'll have to check my son's Bronco. He just installed a kit.
Anyone else experiencing a hard to latch front hood?
I have to drop mine from about a foot to get it to latch.
I would like to lower and give it a push to latch.
Is there a simple adjustment?
2024 XLT 12" center screen protector.
Sorry for the lack of "search".
I have a crappy Internet connection. Got to take it while I can.
What are ya'll using for center screen protectors?
2024 XLT 2.3l with Softopper is getting about 20.6-21 on a 2100mi. trip across US. Did have substantial winds in TX, NM, AZ.
I did get over 22 on a run to FL and back from TN.
Not sure why Ford did not install seals on the tailgate.
Just took a long trip across the US hitting some brown out dust storms.
I have a Softopper installed. Most of the dust intrusion is from around the gaps in the tailgate.
Shopping seal kits.
Just seeing what experience you all are having...
Whether you add a bed cover or topper, the plastic bed rail caps are going to leak from between the cap and bed and tie down hole covers.
What are you using to seal between the cap to bed?
I have heard someone using silicone sealant.
Wondering if thin weather stripping might work under the cap...
