Wouldn't the dc Inverter require 12 volts from the battery back to the bed? If so what would stop us from pulling power from its source? And is it attached to an oem upfitter switch . Ideally I would like to pull 12v and use it for bedlighting plus a couple of outlets...

Did you have to remove the wheel and liner on the driver's side?

I did all the above but only got the pass side so far as I had heard it was the harder of the 2. I was po'd about that clip I set the driver side off for a few days .

Don't feel bad about the connector I trashed my 1st one on the passenger's side. Drivers side is maybe tonight. I wish there was a clear video of how to safely remove the oem male plug from the oem drl so I grab it n the correct spot!
