I painted mine today, and I’m extremely pleased with the new look. They look outstanding in black, whole different aesthetic now that they blend with the trim, graphics, bumper, tires, wheels, etc.
I don‘t understand why they are not rolling off the assembly line this way, my previous F-150 Raptor had black tips, looked great.
If you’re on the fence, get off and paint them, you’ll truly be happy with the outcome.

I was leaning towards black but now im wondering if the paint comes in the grey color of my bumpers and flares?

1 can of paint and 1 of clear.
You did a great job! I have never used this type of paint, would it require a vht primer 1st or is it a paint and primer in one?

Thanks… I don’t believe it’s a primer combo but I’m sure it would only help to use the primer as well.
