The tire pressure monitoring sensors should not need any calibration if transferred to other wheels. If you get new sensors, they will likely need to be matched to your vehicle's system. Any tire store can do that.
If you go with an overall taller tire, then you may want to have the speedometer...
I took a 2025 for a test drive a couple of weeks ago, to compare it to mine for another reason. At the time, I was not aware the engine had changed and the sales consultant said nothing. Driving the 2025, It did not seem any smoother or more powerful.
I took this picture of the 2025 engine...
Ford has a technical service bulletin that addresses "Extra Effort Required To Close Hood With A “Hood Ajar” Warning Indicator
Service Procedure

2. Adjust the bump stop rubbers located on the hood assembly by turning the bump stop rubbers clockwise until the bump stop...
There is a service bulletin addressing this issue (24-2233)
Markets: North American Markets Only
Issue: Some 2024 Ranger vehicles may exhibit a hood that requires extra effort to engage the primary latch when closing the hood. This may be due to the misalignment of the latch assembly to the...
I had a similar condition with mine (standard XLT suspension), but it has Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT tires. I had the tires road force balanced, which was a big help. I also run my tires at 32 psi (vs 38).
I appreciate all of the comments. . Since my original post, I removed and reinstalled the air filter housing (it was not fully seated) and moved the coolant pipe that rested against the housing. This made a big difference and after comparing two other Rangers (one was a new 2025), I feel mine...
My non-FX4 had that tire. I just replaced them at 2800 miles with the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 because I wanted a better riding tire. As it turns out, the Michelins are better, but not tremendously so. Knowing what I know now, I would have kept the Wranglers until they wore out. I was...
I have an XLT (non-FX4) with the 2.3L. I really like this truck except for a vibration that the dealer has not corrected after two attempts (they balanced the front wheels and replaced the accelerator pedal). I had the wheels road force balanced by Discount Tire, which heped a lot. I still...
I have a non-FX4 XLT, so I have the Wrangler Territory AT on mine. Even after a road force balance, I can still feel a disturbance in the tires. I'm not a fan of these Wranglers, so I'm ordering a set of Michelin Defender LTX MS/2.
I bought my XLT in November, and now have 2,000 miles on it. Shortly after I bought it, I noticed a slight vibration at idle and at speeds under 50 mph. I took it to my dealer at 1,000 miles and they balanced two wheels (not road forced balanced). It really didn't change anything, so before I...
Which trim recommends 44 psi? My XLT (non FX4) recommends 38 psi front and rear. Unloaded, that feels high to me. I'll run 32 psi for the right balance of ride and handling.
It is not difficult to make or apply, once you decide on the design. The Ranger text came first, then I played with the next line (currently "Sport 4x4"). I tried other versions, like "SuperCrew" and "FOUR WHEEL DRIVE."
I'm happy to provide more detail if you desire.
I went through this with another OEM (MINI) to try to get the proper silver for the wheels. I ended up taking one of the wheels (without a tire mounted) to AutoZone. I grabbed silver DupliColor spray cans until I found one that was a close match (it turned out to be a Chrysler color). After...
