FA rehashes a lot of its "news" but this might be the first mention of unveiling, everything else is older news pretty much. I just learned my small town dealership is changing hands which will really impact my chances on the Raptor I think.
It is amazing what can be done, just not my taste. I prefer the subtlety of mike9386cz truck.
If I'm able to score a 24 Raptor I'll have the decals on the bed sides removed and just leave the badge on the tailgate.
Didn't read all 8 pages of this thread so this may be a repeat. There is a Ford Performance tune for the 3.0 V-6 that is in the Explorer. Of course uses the same ProCal tool that all Ford tunes use. It says it adds 30 taking it to 430hp. The thing is that that motor is, like the non-detuned...
This keeps appearing on various Ford Authority posts. "It’s unclear what engines might be available in the U.S.-spec 2024 Ford Ranger at this time, but it’s likely that the new pickup will retain the turbocharged Ford 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost as its base powerplant. " Here is what I think why it makes...
I am #2 on list at the small town dealer in my little town. I know them all as friends and drove auction and dealer trades back when that went one before auction prices went haywire. I just want the V-6. They asked for no money, I send them all the info/rumors from here and Ford Authority. I...
I am #2 at my small town dealer where I know all managers very well and drove auction returns and dealer trade. They asked for no money. I just want the V-6 and while Ford Authority continues to speculate that " It’s unclear what engines might be available in the North American spec 2024 Ford...
Maybe we are (74) , me I think in a bug rich environment its a lot easier to clean a chrome grill than a painted one. I like chrome wheels, just not the ones Ford has but after market are way too high priced, but I also like the 17" magnetics that for some reason didn't come on my '19 Lariat 4/4...
The Forums take a lot of info from the Ford Authority website. I think I have looked at all the news that surfaces here and on Ford Authority and think that I've seen nothing on the automotive sites that we haven't seen here. I live in a small town and am know the general, sales and service...
I don't mind the looks, but hate the pics with the bars on the bed and that short bed....but, I want the motor :) I drove a big Ram with their big screen about 150 miles on a dealer trade and didn't mind it. Drove the E-Mustang and didn't mind the size, the brightness and sharpness was really...
Any "new" info is appreciated. Too bad it is so de-tuned :) in England. Always nice to see more pictures of Gen6 models. I'd love to get a plain ole Lariat if one could get the V-6. Have my '19 Lariat pre-sold and dealer even wants a shot at it. But who knows what the timing/availability will...
Agree on NY only thing I was thinking was that it is easier for them to use the displays/vehicle they have in the bag already but you nevern know. I was hoping for mid-50's. I will pay cash and have my '19 sold for KBB high private sale number, but dealer wanting it too. And supply may put me...
Couple things - thanks for the info on Ford Video guy but I can't see what specific video from his site that has the Ranger mention. I was going to the Chicago Auto show but pre-show schedule, etc. and made no mention of anything on '24 Ranger or Raptors and didn't go. Can't see anything on...
related thread I can't find now a guy in PA said his dealer told him orders would open 4/17. No update on Ford Authority site “the 2024 Ford Ranger is expected to enter production at the Ford Michigan Assembly Plant in May of 2023”. So far my small town dealer has only one interested before...
SPorts package is the key, mine was not, just straight 4x4. Lariat section of my '19 brochure shows "265/60R18/BSW all-terrain tire (4x4)" and all-season same size for 4x2. Under the Sports Package section it does specify 17". I actually like those 17" that came with the Sports Package better...
Ok - I believe you without experiencing it since I don't know where the feature is accessed and I need it before I lock :) and I lock only about 25% of the time I exit my truck
My dealer is same. Small town, know them all, drove auction and dealer trades for them, etc. and expect similar treatment. Hard to tell what dealers would order or exactly what options the RRaptor might have but one could reasonably expect that you wouldn't have too many options.
Well, I would never buy off the lot if I could order direct from Ford, which I did in '19. However what will surely be a demand FAR exceeding supply of RRaptors has to acasberate the situation by orders of magnitude. I indicated interest to my dealer (small town, only second person to do so)...
