I haven't check for debris on the compressor but it is pretty well protected. I opted for the remote air intake that mounts behind the tail light. The ARB harness is used and you plug the SDHQ harness into it. I used switch 3 to supply control power. The SDHQ harness runs up to the battery.

In the N. American models the center channel is run off the head unit also.

I installed an onboard air system using the ARB twin compressor. Controls for the air bags are in the bed of the truck mounted in a water proof electrical box.

I did mine about an hour and a half per side.

I've heated them up with a heat gun and removed them. Just use patience. Replace the tape to reinstall. It's not that hard to do.

I'm running them front and rear on my Land Rover. Never had issues. I just wish the OP would let us know why he needs a new driveshaft.
