For those of us that have zero experience with tunes what does this mean?
It means the cost is about 50% less because you don’t have to swap the ECU

We used to have to swap the engine control module to tune.
Now we can just plug in to tune. Easy stuff

And also without syncing the swapped ecu with the rest of the vehicle computers. To me this is the difference between a no go and a done deal.
Sure thing! This definitely makes things way easier!

Posted in the other thread but let me know when you have an Aussie compatible tune and I'll be all over it. I assume it'll be easier for me to buy the ODB2 HPTuner device and credits here in Aus?

What is the advantage of the MPVI vs RTD for someone that is not going to be editing or tuning themselves? You said you recommend the MPVI because you can force write. What exactly does that mean? Make for better tuning?

It's compatible, I'm tuning one now!

If you can find the MPVI out there, that's much better! I can get you the credits if you need

The MPVI can utilize a Laptop if needed. You have a lot more control with what you can do with a laptop. And if you wanted to self-tune later on you can.

I personally use a mini-pc in my dash for things

OOOOO, ok that's even better. I can source an MPVI and creds. I should have one by the end of the month. Can you send me a PM with price and what sort of figures/stats and if I must have any specific hardware as I haven't upgraded the cooler yet.
Thanks

Well, not sure if you guys saw this but on my Bronco Raptor I made 658whp last week!

This was what I posted on the sister site:

Introducing the worlds Highest HP Bronco Raptor!
(This is a high HP Bronco raptor on 37s, not a ranger raptor on as others have posted)

We were able to get our GooseTuned R&D Bronco Raptor on the dyno yesterday at SDHQ in AZ and put it to the test!

You guys have seen us go from stock, to tuned, to E40, and now bigger CRP turbos! Super pumped to have added +300whp peak to this truck in less than 4 months!!

With the help of Nostrum High Performance, we were able to squeeze out some MASSIVE power from this 3.0l nano! This is the first Bronco Raptor with the Stage X fuel system + ESSIM!

Take note of the smooth powerband! No odd dips, just smooth power that peaks at redline!!

Stock: 376whp 388wtq
Results: 658whp 590wtq!

You guys know that we will be putting this through its paces in the desert, at events, etc!

Huge shoutout to SDHQ for the last minute install!

We are working on something super super cool that I will post about in the coming week(s)!!

This was self-tuned on HP Tuners!
E50 Fuel
COBB Tuning intercooler and Wheels!
Nostrum Stage X Fuel system + ESSIM
Process West piping
S&B intake
IAG Performance AOS
SPD Performance Tstat

Is this a hero pull? Or something that can be sustained.?

What are the specs on the turbos? ball bearing?

How’s the transmission holding? Is it built?

What do you think E 80 would do?

Amazing work!!!

Thanks man!

It made 650+whp 5x in a row, so it wasn't going to make anymore.

I've been testing it over the last week or so. Where I'm at it's 110+ outside, so this is really stress testing.

The trans so far is ok, stock 10R60.

I'm not sure E85 will make anymore power, but I'll give it a shot and see.

These are the CRP Stage 3 turbos

We've tuned close to 50 of these ranger raptors in the last couple of weeks.

This customer was 10,000 miles away in the country of Africa. He uses his truck in the Maasai land countryside.

Awesome! He's gained roughly 70whp on his local 87oct (which isn't too bad out there!)

Thanks again man!

@Goosetuned any chance you do tunes for the 2.7 in the ranger as well? Saw the 2.7 for bronco on your website but not ranger, thanks.
