I just put these on my Ranger this morning. I like the in channel deflectors better than the tape on. I had a set on my 2017 Tundra for 8-1/2 years and they held up great, though they were a different brand.

Still not cheap but much better. Order placed so weāll see how it goes.
Here are the before and after numbers:
Original Cover
Pass rail 59-13/16ā
Driver rail 59-7/8ā
Cover vinyl to vinyl 59-5/16ā Pass and 59-3/16ā Driver
Replacement Cover
Rails 59-13/16ā
Vinyl 59-15/16ā
So the vinyl cover section is about 3/4ā longer on my replacement cover.
I finally installed my replacement cover yesterday, and itās definitely an improvement over the original. The fit at the tailgate is much better now, but thereās still a bit of a gap under the vinyl thanks to the stepped down edge of the tailgate cap. I may try and add some weather-stripping...
So Eiback released their front coilover kit for the 2024-2025+ Ranger on Friday, but only for 2WD Rangers. For the 19-23 model years the front coilover kits were the same for 2WD vs 4WD, so I thought maybe I'd go ahead and order it. But I called Eibach yesterday and there's going to be a...
I got my replacement mid-week last week but haven't had a chance to install it. Sounds like maybe they did make some improvements so I'm anxious to get it "re-installed"
Makes sense, but from what I can find online the 2.7L weighs between 155 and 175 pounds more, so just 80-90 pounds per spring. I may be willing to take my chances :)
I stopped by my Ford dealer and looked at a '24 Ranger on the lot, and the stake pocket cover matched the picture in their instructions, which is also the same as what's on my '25.
I just got this message back from Team Eibach:
"I just noticed you have the 2.7L V6, which we have not tested yet. The current kit we have coming out was based on the 2.3L engine. Now I imagine it should fit the 2.7L V6 as well, but we will need to bring one in for testing to confirm fitment...
My X4S package only included the parts for a 2024 setup. According to BAK and their online manual, you follow instructions for 24 or 25 based on the stake pocket covers. My 2025 has the "24" stake pocket covers so the extra parts weren't needed. The 25 "kit" has a different bulkhead piece of...
Should we expect the rear vinyl edge of the X4S to rest on the top edge of the tailgate cap? I'm hoping that will be the case when my replacement cover ships.

I'm planning on going with these in a 275/75-18 once I get my front end leveled, on an 18x8 wheel with 41mm offset. I've been a BFG guy for my trucks/SUVs since my first 82 Ford Bronco, so this is gonna...
