Conversely, for all those that complain about the short electronic shifter in the ‘24 Lariat, I never liked the big manual shifter in my ‘21 Lariat. I also like the added technology that comes with the electronic shifter. The 2.7L engine is way better than the old 2.3 too. Loving my new truck.

Each model has a different control button setup. On mine the three smaller buttons control park assist, traction on/off, and auto start on/off. The long button controls the modes. Other models seem to use the right-most small button to control the mode. It will be the one with multiple symbols.
