  1. Ranger 2.7L V6? What is your build date?

Yes, that is definitely the smart approach. I'm worried about driving mine home from St. Louis to Phoenix in a few weeks. I'll try to find some business routes to hit some stop/go traffic. Otherwise, it will be freeway for 21 hours.
  2. 2024 Ranger STX with 0 options! Purchased from Granger Ford

Iconic Silver. I had to go with my all-time favorite. But the blue is nice, I have to admit.
  3. Ranger 2.7L V6? What is your build date?

Yes, the white looks great--it was my 2nd choice. I ordered silver. Happy to hear that the V6 is living up to your expectations. I have a 21-hour drive home when I pick up mine, so I will be doing MPG calculations to see what kind of gas mileage it gets. Hoping it won't be too much less than...
  4. 2024 Ranger STX with 0 options! Purchased from Granger Ford

That's awesome--how a vehicle purchase should go. I hate all the back/forth negotiation at most dealerships and the finance office trying to squeeze out even more of your hard-earned money. I like the idea of negotiating once and then just go in and pick it up. Mine was ordered through Laura...
  5. Bug shield

I know where they all go...into my Bronco's windshield :( That thing is like a rock/bug trap. Looking forward to getting my Ranger and will definitely invest in a bug-shield.
  6. 2024 Ranger STX with 0 options! Purchased from Granger Ford

This speaks volumes about Granger Ford. From what I've seen, they tend to have some of the best deals around. Congratulations on your "economically-friendly" new truck that will keep its value for a long time. It looks great.
  7. Ranger 2.7L V6? What is your build date?

Very nice! That color looks great with the wheels and body accents. How is the V6 treating you?
  8. Ranger 2.7L V6? What is your build date?

We are anxiously awaiting photos and your initial thoughts on the 2.7! Keep us posted. I should be right behind you with an ETA of 9/21/24 if all goes well.
  9. I just purchased my 2024 Lariat and I'm in love - need some bed cover suggestions!

Congratulations on your new Ford Ranger. Did you get the 2.3 or 2.7? As for bed covers, there are quite a few threads/posts that discuss options, fitment, recommendations, etc.... so if you just search through the forums, you will find lots of information on tonneau/bed covers. Happy Rangering!
  10. Any Member With Inside FORD News on 2025 Changes - - SuperCab

Black Appearance Package has been teased. I expect a few more color options too. Otherwise, its anyone's guess. A hybrid is sure to come, but may not be until 2026 or later. I just hope they announce the changes before I pick up my 2.7L. I might wait if they come out with split rear seat...
  11. Ranger 2.7L V6? What is your build date?

Sorry to hear that yours has been stuck "in production." Hopefully they will get it finished and shipped soon. Fingers crossed for you!
  12. New Ranger 2.7 l ordered still in production

Hi. There have been a few threads on this topic. It sounds like it can be all over the place based on many factors. It is best to just be patient and wait for an update on the Ford Tracking page. I can provide my personal experience if that helps set your mind at ease. Build week was...
  13. Help identifying various attachment points in the bed.

I'm guessing they are pre-drilled for the Factory Bed Track and Cleat Cargo Management System. The plastic plugs are probably for wires/electrical for a camper shell.
  14. Ranger 2.7L V6? What is your build date?

I got the email this morning that my Ranger has been built and awaiting shipping. XLT, FX4, advanced towing and tech with the 2.7 L. Very exciting.
  15. RIVAL 4x4 Fuel Tank Skid Plate Installed

The "existing" or "OE" is cheap plastic. Not sure why they didn't follow the Bronco and do a steel plate for the gas tank--piece of mind when off-road.
  16. Corrected FORD’s design flaw today

That looks really good! I have gone back and forth on the XL trim for that same reason--not a fan of the silver plastic. If it was metal/aluminum, maybe but its plastic! And cheap plastic at that. Nice work with the wrap.
  17. XLT FX4 tire options: 17” Off-Road OWL Tires vs LT 255/70 R17 All-Terrain OWL Tires

Bringing this thread back. I also ordered the LT tires because I have not heard great things about the Wranglers on or off road. I have the Grabbers on my Bronco and they are definitely solid and I noticed better handling on road over the factory Bridgestone Duelers. Off-road has been good...
