  1. Man, I wish Ford would offer a 6' bed option

The Ranger FX4 with a 2.7 is almost the ideal reasonably-sized and powered truck. If they would offer a 6' bed it would be close enough to perfect to quote an old Alabama song. Ours handled and responded like a race car in the mountains around Asheville, NC last month.
  2. Rock chips without running boards?

I removed my running boards because they were in my way of getting in and out. Not needed to get in and catch my heels when I'm getting out.
  3. Maverick Headrests to Solve The Ranger's "Tilt Too Far Forward" Problem

Because they aren't driving around resting their head on it, Mr. Reading Comprehension. The angle of the headrest is so forward designed that's forcing them to sit with their heads tilted forward at an unnatural and uncomfortable angle to avoid the damn thing.
  4. Maverick Headrests to Solve The Ranger's "Tilt Too Far Forward" Problem

That's not the function of a "headrest." It's there to decrease the chances of whiplash if you're rear-ended.
  5. Replace 2025 bed rail caps with 2026 caps?

I had the same thought, but was hoping someone else around here had already tried and succeeded/failed before me, lol.
  6. Replace 2025 bed rail caps with 2026 caps?

Will 26 bed and tailgate caps fit as a direct replacement on a 2025?
  7. PSA: Bed rail caps on '26 are thinner than '25... Tonneau covers will NOT fit

Yes, I went to the Ford place and compared my 25 tailgate cap to a 26 model which was basically completely flat.
  8. 2025 Ranger XLT - having difficulty finding a heavy duty bed cover

Looks like it barely covers the top of the tailgate cover from photos. Does it?
  9. 2025 Ranger XLT - having difficulty finding a heavy duty bed cover

They do which is why I asked Diamondback to find out if they eventually will offer the Switchback model for the 24-25 which what I really want. (Honestly, I can't discern much difference in the way the three models close on the tailgate.) They emailed me back the following: "Hello Michael...
  10. 2025 Ranger XLT - having difficulty finding a heavy duty bed cover

I first ordered a Tyger soft cover for $240 which satisfied me well enough for 8 years on our 2016 Colorado. But after installing the new one on the Ranger I could tell water was going to pour in from multiple places. So, I returned it and decided I'd bite the bullet and buy a nice HD folding...
  11. Has anyone replaced their XLT driver's seat?

Which Recaro? Did you put it in the 24+ gen Ranger?
  12. Has anyone replaced their XLT driver's seat?

    10-way power
  13. Has anyone replaced their XLT driver's seat?

I'm 5'11" and 195. I've got a 60yo man belly, but my ass and hips are certainly not wide nor fat. Hell, I barely have an ass anymore, but it's big enough to detect the large hole in the bottom cushion down near the seat back. But it's the narrow and high bolsters that aggravate my hips. Like...
  14. Has anyone replaced their XLT driver's seat?

I didn't know I was allowed to do that.
  15. Has anyone replaced their XLT driver's seat?

I appreciate ass diversity, but there are a lot of complaints here and other places online regarding how uncomfortable the seats can be, especially the XLT seats.
  16. Has anyone replaced their XLT driver's seat?

Apparently the designers used a 13 year old boy as the ass model to design the seats in the Ranger. I'm a normal size guy of average dimensions, and I cannot imagine how anyone finds these seats tolerable more than a few minutes. Aside from all the inexpensive seat cushions or stuffing inside...
