Boy I hope I have better luck getting a buy back than you did. My raptor has been leaking oil from the engine. It’s had the engine taken apart three times and the cab removed from the frame. I haven’t had my truck since mid November.

The issue is the bed rail design. The rail caps which don’t get covered by a lot of bed covers let water into the bed.

I didn’t get to keep it long before it leaked oil even worse. Turns out the main seal in the engine failed and has to be rebuilt. I’ve been without it for two weeks now.

Everyone knows Ford isn’t reliable when they buy them lol. Ford isn’t touted as most reliable.

Mine sounds the exact same. Waiting for someone to confirm it’s normal lol.

I just noticed mine rattling this morning. Not happy since I just got my Raptor back from having an engine seal replaced since it was faulty and leaking oil.

Just got my Raptor back from getting repaired only to find out now it has the dreaded cam phaser rattle.

The bed is made of aluminum it’ll dent relatively easy. So I would highly recommend a bed-liner. I love the one that came with my Raptor it’s so durable.

It’s a good thing I took it in. Was much more serious than a loose bolt. Turns out it was seeping oil from the cylinder head. They have to keep the truck for a few weeks. Unfortunately I’m getting screwed because they don’t have any loaners. So my ownership experience isn’t off to the greatest...

Solid point I suppose that’s the smart thing to do.

My 2024 Ranger Raptor has 2600 miles on it and I just noticed it’s leaking oil on my garage floor. It has not had its first oil change yet. I suspect it’s coming from this bolt possibly. Does anyone have any ideas how I could get a wrench to it to tighten it to see if that solves the issue.

How long do you have to redeem it? I’m about to have a kid so times a little tight.

what’s with ford and these cam phaser issues. They sound very common. And it sounds like it’s nothing new. You’d think they’d fix it by now

Funny that they make early adopters pay to fix an engineering design flaw, but if you buy a truck after like 9/12 or something they fixed the issue.

You definitely got a freebie and it is complete BS that they just screw over early adopters.

Ford doesn’t know what quality control is. They have the same poor quality control on the 90K Raptor. It’s pretty sad.

Mine has a large gap too pretty sure that’s just the “design”. Did they give you a vehicle while they took two weeks to fix your truck? How many miles when you started having cam phaser issues?

My seats have some stitching issues but it’s whatever. My biggest issue is everything in my truck rattles. It started around 600 miles and I’m at 2700 now and I can’t imagine what it’ll be like off road when a paved road makes it sound like it’s a 30 year old truck.
