This illustrates the difference between the Raptor and the leaf sprung ranger models. My 189dd Gulfstream has roughly 500lbs on the tongue with my 24 XL. I use a E2 WDH, and that helps tremendously.

In this situation, I have to agree. We tow a 20ft single axle with a gvwr of 3800. Any bigger I would consider to big for the truck.

Yep, a standard STX/XL with an aftermarket brake controller. This actually stopped better than my camper does behind the Ranger. It was definitely sagging in the rear. I would assume that the leaf springs give the regular ranger its higher towing capacity. The Raptor has coils, correct?
