@NYMPHS posted his painted emblem, and that's really inspiring me to look at doing mine. However, I live in rural NM so I'd have to travel to any dealer or shop that can do OEM paint color. Therefore, if I were to shop online, where would be the best place to get a good OEM color match? I'm...
This photo is actually extremely helpful! So they clipped in, not stuck on with adhesive. Must have been an older Ranger video I was watching. It's frustrating how little Ranger stuff is out there... so you're contributions are greatly appreciated!!!
how was it attached to the tailgate? I watched a video that involved a lot of adhesive to remove. What did you use to reattach it? both you and @White willy did an amazing job! I’m pretty sure I’ll end up on an episode of “Nailed it!“ but still worth a try.
Mine is Ruby Red with BAP. Reading this inspired me to consider doing it to mine. Not sure about the front emblem with the camera because if I break that, there's issues. But I do like the idea of finding one at a junkyard to practice. Not so much the actual painting, but the taking it apart...
Next time you pass through, you should have breakfast at Sofia's. Amazing breakfast burritos. =)
I don't know where Trementina is but I'm now curious and googling it.
Bought hours in December, so we’re not quite at five months and just shy of 2000 miles. My wife and I carpool to work most days, and my commute is exactly 0.96 miles. So the mileage is primarily from trips to Albuquerque or camping. My F150, which is my daily driver and the preferred camping...
I added the grill guard because I liked the look, and the only one that even offered compatibility with a 2025 Ranger was Ranch Hand (real truck.com had one that was really more of a glorified bull bar). They said it wouldn’t fit a lariat because it blocked the sensors. After modifyinga sensor...
For someone like me who does just enough off roading to go to mountain property, the FX4 has always been sufficient. But I don’t go for performance off-roading and never felt the need for more. My 2 nickels worth (since the penny is on its way out, thoughts are more expensive now)
For some reason, I’ve never gone much for the beige-y colors. And having had Carbobized Gray on F150, it’s not a bad color but common. If I was ordering I’d do Ruby Red or Atlas Blue. But that’s just me… I think I’d echo the comment to go with Sand so it’s not as common. As long as you are...
Actually, this worked. I hadn't bought a remote yet but was reading about how it works and rolling codes. Seems it would have been a waste of money anyway because I've read that the rolling code remotes won't work. Mine is working... thanks to all who answered! :like:
Years ago, I lost the remotes to my Genie garage door opener. I never worried about it... until I realized my Ranger has HomeLink on the visor. Everything I'm seeing about programming it requires the remote. I assume that'st the only way to program it, but I figured I'd throw a hail mary and...
It was quite a lift... a buddy helped me install it, and we ended up putting it on a jack to hold it in place while one held steady and the other impacted. The bolts were very difficult to get on, I'm assuming partially because of some version of locktite and partially because of very tiny...
I did the Ranch Hand install on mine and was surprised at how sturdy it was since they did not have a support through the grill like in previous models. I do have to fabricate a relocation port for the two outer sensors but it included parts to relocate two sensors in the center. I'll be...
I added the Ranch Hand Grill Guard. I like the look, although it is missing any upper grill support but it feels solid. Ranch Hand said it won’t work on a Lariat because of sensor location, which is true, but I’m going to fabricate sensor relocation to get them back online!
Is A meant to go between the seats in the back? Because I’ve never seen a backseat with a gap for something like that. I like the idea of A better than B, but I’m gonna echo the other ??? comments.
