  1. A few of my thoughts/issues with my new Raptor

Aussie Raptor here with around 18k km on the clock and just over a year old. When new, the fuel consumption was rubbish, hitting around 16L/100 doing normal drive as above. After around 5000km the fuel consumption reached the current normal of around 12.5L. It took a while driving the vehicle...
  2. 2024 Ranger Manuals

The lack of a complete physical manual has been an ongoing issue for me since I bought my MY22 Next Gen Raptor last year in Australia. My vehicle came with the printed Quick Start manual (which has nothing of value in it), and the in-car digital manual which didn't work as Ford had left a...
  3. Ranger Raptor Lane Centering and Lane Keeping clarification

And for the avoidance of doubt, the feature in mine is called Lane Keeping
  4. Ranger Raptor Lane Centering and Lane Keeping clarification

I reckon you're right there. Some of our Aussie rural roads have rubbish markings. When I was testing this on highways with good markings, the ping pong effect (post recall) was still there, but you could see from the RAG status lights that the lines were being correctly identified. My...
  5. Ranger Raptor Lane Centering and Lane Keeping clarification

It almost felt as if they had this right before the recall. It was rock solid, albeit in an uncomfortable position relative to other traffic.
  6. Ranger Raptor Lane Centering and Lane Keeping clarification

Yes, it was, but manufacturers don't re-write software modules from scratch every time a new model is designed. The lane-keeping system has been around for a good while now. And we have right-hand drive models in Australia ;) Mechanically the vehicle is awesome; there are a lot of stupid...
  7. Ranger Raptor Lane Centering and Lane Keeping clarification

So, a few observations from my 2022 Aussie Raptor after 16000km. Before they "fixed" something in the first software recall for the lane keeping system, the vehicle used to keep bang on the line around curves, however it did and still does always push me hard to the centre line on the right. (I...
  8. Where are the consumer reviews? Deliveries? Aussies and EMEIA help us out

Unfortunately the Raptor in Aussie only has USB power in the cab and 12V cigarette socket in the tub. No 220V sockets. Will be interesting to see what comes out in the US.
  9. Where are the consumer reviews? Deliveries? Aussies and EMEIA help us out

So, 6 months and 4500km in, there's a lot to like and a bunch of irritation, though not deal breakers. The vehicle is mechanically awesome. It handles bad roads, off-road lumps and bumps, rocks, high-speed dirt and water crossings perfectly. The first time we took it over gravel and flood damage...
  10. Next-Gen Ranger Accessories Released for Australia

Great, thanks! I've found a number of accessories which say Next Gen Ranger, then exclude the Raptor. This looks good.
  11. Where are the consumer reviews? Deliveries? Aussies and EMEIA help us out

Totally agree. The range on a stock tank is pitiful. Where are you seeing an aftermarket petrol tank? I've seen diesel tanks available for the other Rangers, but not for the Raptor. Any advice appreciated!
  12. Next-Gen Ranger Accessories Released for Australia

Anyone found any bullbars for the new Raptor yet? The lack of model specific accessories from Ford, ARB and other aftermarket providers is so frustrating! These new ARB parts are a start, but I want to protect against the roos!
