Mine is a late December '25 build, so it is supposedly outside the recall, but that is close to the symptoms I'm having. When I take it in for the latest recall, I will say something to them. Never experienced this in a brake pedal before.
Anyone else have an issue with their brake pedal firmness being inconsistent. Sometimes when I drive it the brake pedal is unusually hard to push. Still stop the same, however it requires more force. Normally will do it after sitting and will get easier the more you drive it. Almost feels...
I am very happy with how quiet my RR is. Main reason I did not buy a Bronco. I occasionally get a small vibration sound from that metal looking trim on drivers door panel, however if I push in on it when it does it, it goes away and does not return for awhile.
If Ford keeps decontenting the way they are going you will be lucky to get an engine and wheels. Its a shame they are really screwing with their customers, charge more, get less, and built like crap (Especially fit/finish). Unfortunately it has turned into the American way.
Personally I feel...
You got a unicorn. I did stumble across a couple during that time looking, however the dealer refused to deal on them. My last one I ordered was on a quality hold for 8 months (No explanation) and came in with scratch / dents and looked like it been sitting in a field somewhere.
Being a Ford guy back to my '91 fox body, this in infuriating that this is still an issue. It just shows that Ford don't give too F%$! about the product they put out. This issue has been on going since the RR was introduced in '24. Unfortunately, from what I have observed in the Ranger...
Look over the entire truck, the list is long (don't won't to burst your bubble)(Post covid vehicles from every manufacturer are just not the same),
shipping damage (interior / exterior), tail light chip issue, body panel alignment (dents / dings), paint coverage / quality (dirt in paint, fish...
First one (2024) had 2 large, paint fish eyes (hood, rear quarter panel). Paint chip above driver's side tail light (common issue caused buy tail light), paint chip on point of passenger fender at grill. The passenger seat cover also had a weird mark on it.
Second one (2025) - rear hood edge...
Just thought I put this out, having had order (2) Raptors that came in with QC issues and my experience with trying to find one without issues, I came across (2) things on my new RR that I have never notice before. Went to mount my rear license plate and discovered the factory holes were not...
Only got 300 miles on my RR, however it's a blast to drive (Even in the corners). It handles very well for what it is and is quick. Plus, it can handle New Jersey roads without a problem. I have only driven an Explorer ST & I wouldn't try to compare the two as they are different animals...
In my excitement of finding RR without any paint defects or shipping damage, I did not notice that the hood was out of alignment. Both front fenders at the point were sticking out way pass the hood and looked like hell.
For starters, it is very easy to adjust the hood yourself with out a...
Its an absolute blast to drive. I am loving mine so far and only had it for a couple of weeks. I would say the biggest issue is QC on fit and finish. Ford really has a problem with paint, body panel alignment, and shipping damage from what I have seen. Just really look it over when you look...
Driven Super Dutys for 20 years was getting tired of driving them around town, wanted something sporty that I can take on the beach and have fun with. I am lucky enough to be able to keep my '20 Tremor SD as it is paid off. Still will use on longer trips.
