Dude I need 625HP.

can you list all of your upgrades line by line please?

Right now I FP tube and ARE intake but I'm not sure if anything else will add more power. I was thinking of tubing and better inter cooler but I'm not sure that adds more power alone? Can you comment on this?

I was thinking of standalone engine mgmt or exhaust.

It's been a little over a year now since tuning my RR. I've driven in snow, ice, below zero temps, over 100 temps, towing, 12 hour road trips, and some off-roading. Extremely happy with the truck, & have had zero issues (nope sorry, I blew a fuse installing the subwoofer). Used it to tow a 22ft car hauler on an 8 hour trip through the Kentucky & North Carolina hills. Really impressed me, and I think the other drivers I went by on cruise control up some step inclines. I wanted to post this as a lot of people had negative comments "ecoboom", about tuning these trucks. We kept the power down, safe torque level for the stock transmission, & I just had the transmission upgraded by Suncoast Performance, & Also we've just upgraded the stock intercooler to the new CVFab unit as well as their Charge pipes. So now we are turning it up for another year of testing. Huge thank you to Adam at ZFG Racing for helping me, & monitoring everything along the way. It was a little scary back in March of 2024 when he used my F150 Raptor ECU to unlock my truck for tuning so that he could help Maxx in Australia become the fastest/most powerful RR (at the time). But having worked with him on 6 or 7 vehicles & him having tuned thousands of these 3.0's worldwide....I said...let's do it! Nathan

Couple questions:
Not that it matters much but what kind of mpg do ya get on road trips?

Also, how much did you tow setup end up weighing? Wondering how hard of an upper limit that 5500lbs is...

Why Ford did not put a 8.8 in these trucks is beyond me. But I believe the most breakage problems span from wheel hop , the KO'3 tirs hops bad. I recently installed Atturo AZ 850 305 50 20 tires and the truck hooks and is way better to drive in general. I highly recommend getting better tires for spirited street/ stip applications.

Do you ever "launch" your truck by holding the brake? I blew my rear diff doing that as soon as I installed the FP tune. I wasn't sure if it was just a freak think or something to be wary of after upping the torque.
What actually broke? Axle shaft, ring, pinion, spider gears?

Best thing to do is an ECU swap, where it can be custom tuned. You could probably get close by doing all the after the ecu products, like Australia/South Africa was doing until Adam showed them how to do the ECU's.

This one really doesn't have much done to it.

Mod list at time of dyno:
Catted Downpipes
Air intake
93 octane
Hot/Cold Charge Pipes
It does have a Milltek exhaust but we only seen single digit gains once tied in with the rest of the build. It's just a little bit bigger than stock but still all of the same shape/bends/Valves/ect.
Besides cosmetic, and sound system, everything else is factory, including intercooler.

I'd love to see your setup. I've been looking for a lowering kit, or at least a way to bring down the rear. Some reason the rangers all have such a high ass, like those baboons or something. Thigh gap the Kardashains would be jealous of.

Which intake are you running?

What rpm did you rev it to? To get the ideal brake boost you only need to be at around 2200rpm

Thanks for sending. I live in USA, CA where we have tough emissions laws. Luckily new cars here only need an emissions tests 8 years after you buy it, so I got 8 years to mess around before I gotta figure out a plan haha.

but I also bought an extended warranty so I have to be careful where I can swap things or just don't do too much.

Can I inquire more about this notion of wheel-hop as I never hear it mentioned.

I have a 22 Ranger and a simple Ford tune so it's pretty standard. When I ditched OEM wheels for Baja Boss A/T's (265/70/18), the traction off-roading improved significantly, which is what I was seeking, but I immediately noticed upon hard acceleration off-road, I get very noticeable wheel hop as the wheels are spinning in 4WD, so much so that it vibrates significantly in my cabin until I'm moving faster (less wheelspin perhaps?).

This seems to occur when transitioning from low speed or from a stop and I punch it. When I get moving, it seems to go away or when driving normally, it doesn't occur. I never knew why this occurs? If it helps, I tend to prefer high-speed baja style off-roading in the desert. Not into rock-crawling.
