As an option on the Ranger Raptor for $1,495, is it worth it?
In my situation as I plan to go 315/70R17 (aka 35s) I want to have at least +25mm offset. I understand there might be some trimming to be done, but I have heard +25mm offset is where you want to be. IMHO, not worth it as it comes in a +55mm offset. There are plenty of equally priced or in some cases budget friendly bead lock wheels on the market that give you more functionality and/or more capable out the box. To add you will also need to buy Ford's Functional Bead Lock Ring Kit that goes for $1,110 if you plan on utilizing the bead lock capability.
Even if you stay with the stock tire size, I still believe it's not worth the cost. Just my opinion.
What do you think???
- Would you get them anyways.
- The price is right.
- I don't care, it looks cool.
- I never run under 20psi when off-roading.
Ford 17" x 8.5 Bead lock Capable Alloy Wheel
Offset of +55mm
Weight ???
