So I recently wanted to upgrade my sound system as the stock bass is the size of the palm of my hand. After some searching I found that SKAR audio makes a custom stealth box that fits under the back seat. JL audio also makes one also gowever it's 1200 dollars while SKAR is only 329. After buying the required equipment to hook it up.(amplifier and cables) it came to 615. You need a link 2 converter as well which runs about 80 dollars. I connected the stock base to the amplifier so I can use both the SKAR and the already installed unit. It sounds AMAZING and is a much needed improvement.

Did you notice any issues with the ANC when the subwoofer was playing? I believe you can disable it using forscan but I’ve also heard you can disconnect the microphones somewhere in the headliner. I’m waiting for my new sub and amp to be delivered. I haven’t heard anybody talk about the factory active noise cancellation feature giving anybody any issues so I’m hoping it won’t be.

Hey OP! It’s been awhile since your post, and I was just wondering if you still like your Skar sub? I’m also interested in this more affordable sub option vs the JL Audio one. Opinion?
