pretty small. I’ll be curious to see which subs get used. I’m thinking the Kicker CompRT would work well at a good value. Otherwise spending twice as much to get the JL TW3 or Hertz MPS 250 (like RRaptor24 did here). The Rockford Fosgate options out there look to want more volume.
I’m sure any of these subs would sound better than what’s in it.. I chose the Hertz because I have them on my Harley and they sound fantastic.. I always have the mindset of, you get what you pay for 🤷🏾‍♂️

I did. I added an amp and a sub under the rear seat. Bought a plug and play harness. Sounds amazing
I have all the links if you’d like them.

Agreed! The JL and Rockford options are no slouches, and I bet the casual listener would be plenty happy with the Kicker as well. I do have a question for you though. You had someone else do your install, correct? Do you know if they ran a new power / fuse line from the battery to your amp, or were they able to tap into the power to the existing amp? To be honest I haven't peeked back there yet to see what the power situation looks like.

yes I had it professionally installed. They did run a power wire with a fuse. The plug and play unit I used taps into the factory amp. If you look at the first of the comments you’ll see everything that was used.

Yeah I saw your post, but I was just wondering specifically if they ran a new power from the battery, or if they were able to use the factory power and fuse already run to the factory amp. I had not yet looked to see what size power / fuse was used and whether it would be adequate. Running that new power cable is the most annoying part of an install.

They did run a power wire and it was well worth the $200 it cost for them to do it all, I supplied everything needed.

I think I am going to follow this setup as well. The only thing I'll try to change is find a small enough amp that can fit where the original 6" sub was. That way I wont lose both under-seat storage compartments. Ideally I would prefer to have everything behind the rear seats against the rear firewall, and keep both under-seat storage compartments. But I'm guessing with the Hertz sub you're using requires more cubic inch than what is behind the rear seats. Maybe an 8" sub could fit back there...

Actually the sub behind the seat isn’t a 6x9, it’s a round speaker about a 5-3/4 size as where a 6x9 would be oval shaped. I purchased an under seat sub box for a 10” sub from Australia. I’m installing a 10” 2ohm Hertz mille pro shallow sub paired with Kenwood KXA800.1 mono amp. I purchased a Kicker KeyLoc plug and play unit from Soundsgoodstereo.com that easily cancels out the factory bass roll off. Really simple install. Run the power wire find a proper ground, done.
Subwoofer-$449
Amp-$300
Box-$185-ebay
Plug and play-$250
When you say 'plug and play' I assume you mean IF you have the B&O system with factory sub? Are vehicles without B&O SOL for PnP?
