2024 Ranger rear bumper cap help

So I was in the process of setting up my trailer on my (1 month old) 2024 Ranger XLT FX4 4X4. I've towed boats, travel trailers, utility trailers my whole life so you'd think I would know what I was doing. Anyway while checking my trailer brakes the trailer came off the ball and damaged the plastic bumper cap on the rear bumper. Anyone have any experience removing the bumper cap? Looks like it just snaps in? Cap also looks very similar to per 2024 Rangers.
