Ok, it has been almost 2 years since I started this thread, so I am now wondering if anyone has tried getting a service manual for our models from the Motorcraft website ( https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Purchase/ViewProduct).

I'm specifically after good wiring diagrams at this stage - ones that show basically everything, not just the auxiliary switch wiring and things. I can't actually see if the site has the service manual for our vehicles as you need to purchase a subscription before you even get to see what is available.

Can anyone confirm that the service manual for our vehicles is actually available - or do I just take the gamble?

Literally everything about the vehicle is available on the motorcraft site. I am currently subscribed. Downloading the data is difficult if you're not a dev.
I have been trying everything but it looks like I may have to save thousands of pages and sub pages as PDFs one by one but my subscription will end before I'm done since it's only 3 days.

I got this for my '25 Lariat, and while I'd do it again I have to say I hate the interface. It requires Windows which isn't a big deal for many, but for me it's another windows license assigned to a VM that only runs this one app. So once every few months when I want to use it I spend what feels like hours doing windows updates and crap, before eventually I get to use the 1990's-designed interface for what should be simple pdf/html/xml or whatever.

That reminds me, I really should have reported back on what I found.

I did end up paying for 72 hours of the online Motorcraft manual. Rather than try to manually download and print to PDF, I went with this solution https://github.com/iamtheyammer/fetch-ford-service-manuals.git which I can confirm works but with quite a bit of faffing about. If you are not keen to play systems engineer then don't bother.

The manual does indeed cover the Next-Gen (6G) Ranger but it really is absolute crap. I think if I had to pay money to have permanent access to the site, I'd probably prefer to stick pins in my eyes.
Bottom line is that it does give you some information but it really is pretty poor. Better than nothing I suppose.
