Looking for advice specifically on what happens if I don’t do a ride height reset with Forscan for the Fox live valve shocks after installing a fordrangerlifts.com 3” front/1” rear lift leveling kit. LT315/70 R17 BFG KO2’s on Method 708’s 17x8.5 +25 offset.
Truck drives very similar to stock and no noticeable difference in ride or suspension feel. I am a bit of a luddite when it comes to computers and not sure I want to dive into the world of computer coding. Am I hurting my suspension by not changing the ride height sensors? Is there any other way to reset without using Forscan?

just curious are you sensitive about suspension feeling overall? Because I just lifted 2” in the front with FMI collar and it feels stiff af now. Also thinking about resetting with forscan, heard that might help

I honestly can’t tell any difference after the kit. I was just worried that I might be doing some sort of damage if I don’t do the fore scan reset. Collar lift versus top hat spacer lift (mine) might make for a different suspension feel after the fact, but I don’t know. Lots of controversy over this topic, but the truck drives and feels the same to me, which is still awesome. My brother has fore scan and I will be seeing him in about a month, I think I will try and have him do it since I can always put it back the way it was if I want. Just not too keen on jumping into the world of computer coding myself, even though everyone says it’s simple.
