There is a YT video on how to adjust the latch very easy that's what i did even though there's a TSB and could bring it to the dealer i preferred to avoid that hassle for a very minor thing.
It now closes first try with no drop just pre latch it and push down for final click, i tried the rubber bump stops first, that did not work. Mine was also a early '24 build fwiw.

Do you have a link to the YouTube video? I am having this exact issue and can’t locate the video. The bump stops didn’t work for me either….

Unfortunately no, i looked at my YT history and nothing there, it was about a year n half ago when i had my '24 it was an early build and the factory just didn't get it right, i sold that truck and have a '25 with no latch issue, i searched also just now and nothing, maybe i linked YT from this forum and not my account and that's the reason it's not showing IDK at this point.
But i remember it showing what bolts to loosen and what direction to move it.
The adjustment worked for me and never a problem after.
If your not comfortable doing it you can always go to the dealer, good luck
