'25 RR Shelter Green order placed today

Just left my dealer, placed another order for a '25 Ranger Raptor after my '24 came in with several paint defects and decided to pass on it. Dealer did not have an allocation (they didn't the last time either), so will see when the order gets picked up. I'm getting it for $100.00 over invoice.

On a funny note, they sold my '24 with the paint defects 2 weeks later. The guy who bought said he didn't care, lol.

Congrats. I am also waiting on a ‘25. Dont know if my dealer has an allocation or not. I am paying MSRP.

Just an update, got an email this afternoon from Ford, saying they picked up my order and are working on a build date. The dealer did not have an allocation, so I am happy it was picked again. My suggestion to anyone that is ordering (as this is the second one that Ford picked up without a dealer allocation) is not to order the factory spray in bed liner. I personally believe that the bed liner option, due to demand / process (sub-assembly line), slows down production / delivery, so Ford will tend to pickup non-bedliner trucks quicker.

Now hopefully this one comes in without any cosmetic issues.

I am still waiting for my MY25 to get picked up - my dealer hasn’t had an allocation. I DO have the spray-in bedliner as part of my build, and know that could delay things. Hopefully it doesn’t get delayed too long…

I have had Ford trucks with the factory installed liner and dealer installed, and the factory install just comes out so much cleaner IMHO. Probably not enough of a difference to risk the delay in getting the order built, but I am a bit picky like that.

Congrats on order being pulled. I love my 24 Shelter Green Raptor. It’s a hoot to drive. Does great in the snow too! And already hit the dunes a few times! Plus the Shelter Green color looks great dirty too.
