Added Rok Bloc Window Vents

Got some new Rok Bloc Window vents for the Raptor. Nice addition keeps the car cooler and allows an exchange of air from the outside.

Uses a fine mesh over the holes keeps out bugs and water.

Not usually a fan of the window vent look. These one looks really streamlined though.
Maybe if I smoked or it rained more where I live they would be of more use.

I live in the high desert so they come in handy for recirculating air in the cab.

I've been considering these as I have a Service Dog. Have you had enough time driving around with them to have an opinion on whether you like them or not?

Diesel is a critical customer, so I want to ensure he'll like them ;-).

How secure are they? How and where do you store them when not in use so they don’t get scarred up? Do you know what kind of plastic is used (they say “durable material”)? Do you think the single row version is adequate when it is crazy hot outside?

John, you have to take the window up slowly and bump the switch when they make contact with the vent, so as not to drive the window/block feature crazy. Once they‘re up in location, they’re locked in. I kept bumping the window switch until the auto down feature kicked in, that way I knew how tightly I could install them.

They‘re very secure, as they fit inside the side tracks and top track tightly. I accidentally let the back window down at 65 mph and it didn’t move. So, they’re secure.

It looks like a lexan or heavier plexiglass material, semi flexible.

When installing; let the window down halfway, insert the vent into the side tracks by bowing the vent slightly from the middle. I hand inserted it in at the top track as well, just to preclude any chance of tearing the weather stripping in the window track. I didn’t let it ride up with the glass.

Got the micro screens as well, to keep-out any bugs or direct rain. (Note-Make sure you check the block for it when ordering. The micro screen doesn’t come with the vent by default.)

Oh yeah, the double, over the single wouldn’t be need in Washington. I’m in the Rocky Mountain High Desert, and the single is fine. Combined with the window deflectors, there’s not much chance of rain leakage. There’s a grooved weather strip on the bottom that fits the top of the window.

I can do a video if necessary, however it’s self explanatory.

Like your companion and his colors…..I’ve got one the same colors but a bit smaller. 13” Rabbit Trials Beagle…….They always get the last word on the truck.
