Has anyone had any luck with adding ACC after purchase? I've seen some threads on the Maverick and F-150 forums about it. Given that the new Ranger shares a lot of F-150 modules, I would hope that the programming values would be similar. For reference, I checked out a few parts that were listed as compatible with the Ranger. I found a Lariat vin that I was thinking of using in conjunction with the Motorcraft Service Manuals to verify the parts numbers.

So this looks like it might be a bit more difficult for us. I'm not entirely certain as to their functional differences, but there's a few different models of IPMA for the new Ranger. The biggest difference is that non Technology Package ones are marked as Collision Mitigation System N1WZ14G647BT vs Collision Mitigation System #2 N1WZ14G647BM. Both in the Ford parts store mention they do not include "assist" features.

One of the folks got their acc working with their more basic IPMA after swapping with an advanced one, but it's a toss up as to if that will work for here given there is only one CCM module and it specifically mentions being for collision mitigation system #2.

Now, the really crappy part is the the parts other than the ccm are super expensive lol. So it would even be very cost prohibitive to attempt a swap like that guy in the f-150 forums.

Not to mention that I don't think we can do a PMI on a part not meant for your VIN. I think FDRS checks beforehand to make sure it's right.

Oh well, I'll check back in a year to see if anyone has found out anything more.

Have you reached out to Jesseinfotainment on the F150gen14 forum? He might be able to help with this project. I am watching this thread cause i'd love to be able to get a base 24 ranger and add ACC and comma AI. It has been great on my XL single F150.

I did actually. He responded that it probably won't be possible under the new security architecture they use. Based on what I've read that also seems to be the case. Until someone cracks it I think we're stuck with what we got :(.

Jesse was assuming the new Rangers had TRON (canbus encryption). But since we have some 2024 Rangers using the Comma3x, we know they don't have TRON, so this should still be possible. Not sure if 2025 Ranger added TRON or not.

The new 2025 Ford Ranger does have TRON (canbus encryption) , but I succesfully added Adaptive Cruise Control with lane centering along with the steering wheel control and traffic sign display to my 2025 Ford Ranger XLT with the new 2.3L engine.

Forscan Coding:
(Note: I used the F150 Forscan Coding shown below, but I had to make a few small changes that are not shown below. I will update this coding later today - 3/30/2026)

Please backup and save all the coding for the modules below.

IMPORTANT: Disconnect FORScan and turn the truck completely off, then back on. Reconnect FORScan BUT do not use the saved profile. Let it rescan for all modules. The CCM Module will be shown after the full rescan. If you use a saved profile, you will not see the CCM Module.

Connect to the CCM module to program module with your truck's vin number.

** Note: I need to verify the CCM coding below is valid for the Ford Ranger. I only updated the CCM module with my truck's vin number. **

Once the coding is done, CLEAR ALL DTC, and calibrate the CCM.

Note: The front collision system is disabled until the CCM is calibrated. You will see this error message on your gauge cluster.

CCM Calibration:
In Forscan, go to the wrench icon on the left to get to the service menu and select CCM Calibration. This will require you to drive around for around ~10-15 minutes for the CCM module to calibrate. You will see a message like CCM Requires Alignment on the gauge cluster during the calibration process.

Note: Towards the end of the calibration process, Forscan will stay at 99% Calibration Completed for several minutes, which is no cause for concern.

Once CCM calibration has finished, the front collision system will function along with the adaptive cruise control. If you have not installed the left steering wheel adaptive cruise switch, you have (3 Bar) following distance that you can't adjust.
