I have been seeing lots of video ads for Anki bed fab. Looks like another modular seller from China so I never really bothered to talk to them but I accidentally hit message while sliding through videos and they asked if I have questions through facebutt messenger.
So, since they were on the line, I asked.
I asked about materials and types of camper /bed coverss and costs plus shipping. They sent me tons of videos and pictures and replied quickly each time. even gave me shipping times to my house from their plant somewhere in China.
Anyways, for an aluminum modular shell with three sides that open it is is only 1550 shipped and give it 4-6 weeks for shipping time. I asked for aluminum because I can walk to the ocean so steel always ends up rusting from the salt air here.
They have lots of options but I just wanted a basic style and this pic is what I will get for 1550. I asked them to remove those rails, that's why they are circled in red
I did not order yet because my wife and I are both in the process of retiring and having a new house built so I want to hold off till everything stabilizes (and I just installed that rack and I haven't even gotten to test it out camping yet) but when I do buy one, I am for sure going to take the chance on this brand.
I will update this whenever I get around to ordering one but just wanted to give you guys who like the modular look, like i do, something to look at. I am a fan of trying out oddball stuff, like the overland rack I have, just to show alternatives to the normal crazy expensive stuff we see all the time on the roads.
