Good Handle from some good old shows all my grown kids watched them growing up! :like:
For your information, I thought you'd been mislead some where along the line. Turbos do not have fuel in them and are not connected to the fuel supply in any way. They are a Forced Induction device that compresses the intake air, to force feed the motor more air, so more fuel can be injected into them for more power. Not so much nowadays (unless they were worked hard) as in the past but if anything, turbos need a rest period before shut down to allow some heat to cool down for longevity. :) Fuel in a turbo, the ecoboost might very well go eco-kaboom!:crackup:
Cool ! Thanks filer the quick lesson. I'm on here to learn and help, that's it. The day I don't want to learn, shoot me.

Could the air and gas mixture be too heavy on the gas if the turbos aren't spinning as much ?

" Could the air and gas mixture be too heavy on the gas if the turbos aren't spinning as much ? " Sorry missed this. The fuel mixture is controlled by the onboard computer systems whether the turbo is in use or not. No worries, drive it like you stole it, or putt putt around, the ECU has you covered as far as that's concerned if functioning properly and if not codes will ensure and those wonderful things we nick named "idiot lights", remember that? They will get your attention! :like:
