Have you noticed any difference in drivability, idle, shifting etc...?? Mines been working fine and sure don't want some update screwing things up! :)

I haven't noticed any difference, but I haven't taken any long road trips yet.

On my view I had boost showing and it was replaced by transmission temp, so I had to change it back.

Updates have been more reliable for me once I setup the WIFI to connect to my network.

Just a suggestion

A few weeks ago I got in my Ranger Raptor and could swear the shifting was such that my tires seemed to bite way more in sport mode. Actually got them to chirp going from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. I work close to home and always take it out for spin before to make sure there is no fuel is left in the turbos. When I stopped at work, the update showed up on my screen. Still feels like my shifting is way better.

Yep, updated last night. Only impact was to set my radio back to AM 540, but all settings were still saved.

Strangely, I just got a call from my Ford dealership about this. Supposedly, its actually a recall.

Johnny 5, did you take your handle from that old movie?
Also what do you mean by " I work close to home and always take it out for spin before to make sure there is no fuel is left in the turbos." ?

Yes I did ! My cousin was a mechanic since the 70's. When I bought my 1st turbo powered vehicle, a new 2018 F-150 with the 2.7, I told him I smell gas when I drive my son to school in the morning, one mile from home. I'm not sure what exactly he said, but something to the affect that it was un-burnt fuel from my turbos ? So then I started getting on it in the mornings, driving a few miles extra, and I never smelled it again, although it may have been something else and the dealer fixed it and I forgot ? So ever since then I try to make sure I jump on the gas right before I turn it off and right before I take it out for a ride. I'm not exactly sure how turbos work but my logic works for me.

Good Handle from some good old shows all my grown kids watched them growing up! :like:
For your information, I thought you'd been mislead some where along the line. Turbos do not have fuel in them and are not connected to the fuel supply in any way. They are a Forced Induction device that compresses the intake air, to force feed the motor more air, so more fuel can be injected into them for more power. Not so much nowadays (unless they were worked hard) as in the past but if anything, turbos need a rest period before shut down to allow some heat to cool down for longevity. :) Fuel in a turbo, the ecoboost might very well go eco-kaboom!:crackup:
