Anyone installed the LED BED LIGHTING KIT?

The VR1Wz13E754A kit that works with the key fob. Installation ties the lights to the cargo light. I searched by the part # and couldn’t find any info.

Curious, what would be the advantage to installing these if you already have the factory bed lights on the sides? It sounds like (in the description) that unlocking doors via remote turns these lights on. I assume that is the benefit? I think you can only turn the bed lights installed already via the button in the cab, right? I haven't actually tried with the remote.

The XLT only has 2 small lights (1 on each side) that only come on with the dash switch. Presumably, these cast a whole lot more light, and come on with the key fob or upon opening a door.

Before the FordPass update, you could turn on the bed lights with the Zone Lighting feature in the app. It disappeared with the update.

Wonder if anyone has installed these? Having trouble finding a pdf instruction from ford anywhere...

Though on the ford page it lists install for $224. Honestly that's not bad and might just be worth it!

You are welcome! I tried but taking pins out of the block is beyond my comfort level. I wound up running lights for the bed, running boards and bed step lights from the battery. I have a wireless switch on my keychain. There is another one by the tailgate and a 3rd in the little cubby to the left of the steering wheel.

I spent a bit more on this. But it is hooked up to a wireless remote, when you say it is wired into existing bed lights, what triggers them. What trim is your truck?

My running board lights and bedside step lights are tied into the same setup.

I hooked it up to power on the rear 3rd brake light and factory bed lights 2025 RR and it has on/off switch I did it similar to your A/B switch yours looks like a clean install
