I saw that some (or someone) had the 4D Tech installed at the dealership. I'm just surprised they would do that seeing that its a 3rd party device.

Yes it does. This is the one I bought from my brand new 2026. It got installed in less than 5 minutes with no tool and works flawlesly.

I put one in my wife's 25 RR a few months ago and just yesterday put the exact same one, both bought on Amazon, in my daughter's 26RR. Actually, my daughter put her own in except the silly rabbit she was a little to gentle plugging the two ends in and didn't hear the "click" so when she went to go start it up it was no bueno. I was going to mess with her about for a few minutes because well you know young college grads always seem to think they have all the answers but the look of panic and terror on her face was more than this dad could bare so I pushed both ends in till I heard the "click" which she didn't do and all was good and we were back to her being the smartest person in the room.
