I am about to install some ditch lights which will be wired to one of my auxiliary switches. The problem I have is I only have the two rear switches available. Before I run the wiring under the truck to the back set of wiring has anyone cut into the rear switches wiring by the auxiliary fuse box in the engine bay?

Subscribed as I will will flood lights soon (ADD rear bumper).

Why can't you just use AUX3 or 4 switches in location C (rear) ? The power wires are ready to go near the rear bumper. No need to run wires from the front.

Where were you planning to ground to chassis in the rear ? Looking around the spare tire area, and I don't know where to ground...

The ditch lights will be mounted by the A pillar so that is why I was thinking of breaking into the wiring coming from the auxiliary switch fuse box.

My bad, french first. I got it wrong.

I get your question now. You should be able to identify the aux 3-4 wire colors from a harness coming out of the box and tap that wire from the front in theory.

Look if all wires out are in the same bundle with only the 3 location B wires coming out and the rest going elsewhere. Aux3-4 wires should be there

The run to switches 1 and 2 are at the aux fuse box. So you could do that. But why not use 1 and 2? Are they occupied already or are you wanting to do it for organizational purposes?

switches 1, 2, 5 & 6 are all in use at the moment. 3 and 4 are free.

Just carefully remove the tape / loom to find the AUX 3-4 colors near the aux fuse box under the hood. You should be able to achieve your goal.

Pretty sure they are wired from the box to the rear without wire color change.

You could use a t-tap like connector without cutting the wire, if you want to connect something in the back eventually, but has to fit under total circuit amperage, and it would be on the same switch.
