Borla True Duals for 2.7L are Available

Ordered the Borla with black chrome tips today from SS Exhaust. They are in stock so shipped to my installer today as well. Will report later.

Did you receive your exhaust from SS Exhaust yet? I have not, it has been a mess. My system was shipped from a warehouse 75 miles away from me. I live in NJ and the warehouse is in PA. Yet my system is stuck in Orlando, FL! It left the warehouse and shipped to 2 different FedEx depots in PA before being shipped to FedEx in FL. SS has not been able to give any reasonable remedy or cause. If not resolved by Monday my CC company has agreed to remove the charge and recover their money from SS. Crazy!

Not sure who caused the error but I think SS should step up and comply with my refund request. A little disappointed with SS to say the least. Yes. Mine was shipped via FEDEX from PA to PA to KY to KC, MO to my installer in Wichita who got it yesterday afternoon. It goes in Nov 15. This sounds like a FEDEX failure and retail companies like SS won't authorize a refund unless the item is reported lost since it is the carrier who screwed up. FEDEX knows where it is so it is not lost. I have had FEDEX issues like this before, eventually got a human being in India on the phone who actually got it sorted out and the item arrived undamaged a couple days later. Maybe try FEDEX customer service, as well.

If for any reason you can't get a human, try the chat room option because they often will get you to someone who can solve this. Last resort is to go to your local FEDEX warehouse and find someone in charge to get you one of their corporate help numbers. I did that once and got it sorted out. BTW, for some reason it is always FEDEX when this happens to me, never UPS.

How are these a true dual setup if it has a crossover lol. You can only have true duals when there is no crossover between the two pipes. They have to be kept separate from the moment it leaves the header to the tail pipe.

Shipment arrived and in great shape! I commend SS Exhaust in working with FedEx in getting the package back on the right path. It was in Orlando, FL 10pm last night and at my house in NJ by 2:30pm today. Packaging is great. Kudos to SS Exhaust (it was FedEx mistake). Now have to wait for installer to have some availability....if my 70 old body goes under the truck for too long it ain't coming out...lol!

Glad it worked out. There are some good people at SS. Waiting a week for the undercoating on my Ranger to fully cure before installer. Let us know what you think once you get it installed. My 70 old bod hurts just from draining the garden hoses to store them for winter.

So, the Borla catback duals are on. Installer said no issues, everything fit perfectly. Sounds much better than OEM; especially with the 2.7L engine. In town, you could hear it especially when the buildings were close to the street. Could really hear it accelerating from a stop light and the gear shifts are very distinctive. Went on the Interstate ramp and then got on it. Yep, it's a Borla.

Looks good! It appears you are satisfied with the sound. How is it at cruising speed on the highway? Having mine installed on 11/24.

Cruising is great. No cab drone but you can hear it is there. Passing is also nice. And the wife likes it so there ya go.
