Brake Pedal Noise

Something that has been kind of nagging me is every time I depress the brake pedal there is a clicking noise. It will make a single click noise as I depress the pedal, then will kind of creak as I further press the pedal. It's rather annoying if I'm not listening to any music, etc. Does anyone else notice this? I just find it odd, and wonder if it might be some kind of defect. I know we have an electronic brake booster solenoid if I'm not mistaken. So it might just be obnoxiously loud? I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this?

You might have some play in something under there. Go test drive another st the dealership amd listen for that sound to compare them.

Mine doesnt do it but i have had other vehicles that have made odd noises when engaging the brakes, or clutch on standard trans vehicles

I was pushing the pedal just now with the truck off and when the pedal returns from being depressed you can hear noise coming from inside the engine bay, it’s not coming from inside the cab. Super weird.

Do you have the electric brake booster or the vacuum assist brake booster? Sometimes the vacuum assist boosters can make noise in the engine bay when the truck is off. Also, you could have a bad o-ring at the vacuum hose or even the diaphragm inside the booster can be leaking.
